Subject: Windows code for date


Folks, what's the code you insert in javascript or HTML (or any
code/program) to tell a program to take today's date (as determined by the
computer's clock) and replace the code with the date in the presentation?

Isn't it something really simple like "&date;" or "$date" (minus the
quotes)?  I can't seem to find the right combo of letters and characters...
