The player will not open a daughter window unless it is open in stand
alone mode. One way to acheive the effect you are looking at from a
browser window is to open a new window in the browser with all the menu
and border controls turned off and the realplayer embedded within. This
does not give you the full funcationality of the player but yeilds the
slim look and feel. There is lots of info on the embeded player in
chapter 8 of the G2 Production Guide at
http://service.real.com/help/library/encoders.html.
