Sounds like you have done your home work on this one so if you don't hear back from others I would submit feedback from the dialog that prompts you do so when you close the Realproducer 7.0 beta [or under Help->Send Beta Feedback]. You might want to try going into the bios first though and turning off any IRQ usage you can like the Infrared port. It could be that the IRQs do not get activated til the card gets turned on and since the laptops have pretty limited number of interrupts there might just not be any more. however, that does not explain why the 6.1 producer does work thanks!
