I've used this feature with success and even recently observed that is
is functioning.  However, the way I usually use it is to have the TAC
info in the song get sent out.  That is, the g2slta will normally switch
title, author and copyright based on the info embedded into each song.

Also, if you are playing the presentation thru a SMIL file, the TAC info
might be getting overridden by TAC info in some other datatype. Make
sure you don't have TAC info anwhere but the live stream.

Try not putting TAC info in the playlist but rather let it be inserted
from the media file itself.
