Subject: Video streaming paper
This message may interest some of you. I have just finished writing an
article about our ongoing video streaming project at the University of Miami
("How to Set up a Video Streaming Operation: Lessons from a University of
Miami Project"). The article will be published in the Broadcast Education
Association's Feedback in May, but I received permission to put it on line
too. It is available as a PDF file at http://www.miami.edu/com/c_handout.htm
(first item on the list).
The content of this paper will sound elementary to most of you, but I hope
it will help would-be and first-time streaming developers in academia and in
small businesses. I wish I had known some of these elements before I started
the G2 project last year.
