Jay,

For a corp. network, one of the most important factor for your
consideration is probably reachability, i.e. ability to reach out to the
further field office in any remote area and yet have the control over
bandwidth usage on your WAN links. Cisco's IPTV is designed for multicast
and use lots of bandwidth, it is only good for campus environment with
modern multicast enabled equipment. Real offers multicast from low to high
bit rate, also Surestream (i.e. multiple bit rate in the same broadcast),
it would work well in an organization where there are big and small bit
pipes in the WAN. Also, for certain small offices or mobile workers, Real
provide unicast solutions hosted internally or hosted externally, that
gives you further flexbility.

Hope that adds to your thoughts.

Regards,

Timothy
