Subject: Preroll Size
Hi,
does anybody know how the RealPlayer sets the size of the preroll? In
the documentation I found
"Before it delivers a presentation, RealServer looks at the clip sizes
and the timeline. Weighing these against the connection bandwidth,
RealServer determines how much data RealPlayer must receive before
starting to play the presentation."
Does the server calculate the required size of the preroll? If so, how
does the server signal the size to the client (e.g. in-band, RTSP, etc.)
