From: RealForum <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: RealForum Bulletin Board RealForum Members, I would like to announce a trial run of the new RealForum Bulletin Board at: http://realforum.real.com/cgi-bin/realforum/wwwthreads.pl For now, the bulletin board will be run in parallel with the RealForum mailing list to assess its effectiveness in driving discussions within the RealMedia community. To post to the bulletin board, you must create an account for yourself, since anonymous posting has been disabled. Hopefully this requirement will preserve the quality of the community discussions. In the past, as many of you are aware, I have run a fairly strict mailing list, often to a fault, trying to prevent the list from becoming flooded with simple technical support requests. While this list will still be moderated, expect the moderation to be lighter, since each post will not be mailed to several thousand people. That said, the same suggestions still apply: 1) check the archives first, 2) check the support web site, and 3) assess whether you are asking a question which someone in the community is likely to be able to give valuable feedback on, or if submitting your question to RealNetworks' technical support team would make more sense. A few features that you should definitely check out: - Search - always very helpful - Subscribing - within your profile, subscribe to receive a daily archive of all posts - Categories - read only the topics that you are interested in Please feel free to submit feedback to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Let me know what you think! Regards, Adam Cappio RealForum Moderator ******************************************************* The RealForum is an email discussion group focused on using RealNetworks products.
