Be carrefull CreateObject doesn't work with IE3 and some IE4 if i remember.
More, if you mix VBScript and JavaScript on IE3/4, put javascript code first,
there is a bug in IE that won't allow to go back to javascript if your first
script is vb.
I had such problems when i did detection for a client's web site.
I'm not sure but it looks like that vbscript isn't supported on macintoshes...
