Subject: Scrolling & "command:seek" problem in SMIL

Hi, I hope you can help

I have put together a SMIL presentation which displays a video file,
images and bookmarks. The bookmarks are in a text file which is rather
long so I have entered a scrollbar function into the SMIL file:

<region id="bmk_region"  left="0" top="132" height="108" width="268"
fit="scroll" z-index="0" />

Each bookmark uses the <a href="command:seek(36)" target="_player">
command to jump to specific parts of the video. However, it appears
that this command is relative to the location of the text on the
screen, rather than to the bookmark itself.

For example, Bookmark One links to 36 seconds. However, once I have
scrolled down and Bookmark Six is where Bookmark One used to be, it
also points to 36 seconds, instead of 1:06 or whatever (as specified in
the "command:seek" command).

Does anybody know of a solution to this? I would be grateful for a
quick response as this has become rather urgent!

Yours hopefully,
Liz
