NICKENICH, Germany (November 13th, 2008) -- Monkeybread Software releases version 8.6 of the MBS plug-in for REALbasic.
The MBS plug-in comprises a collection of several plug-in parts which extend the REALbasic development environment with over 1000 classes featuring over 22000 documented functions. The plug-ins require REALbasic 5.5 or newer. Also required are 300 MB hard disc space and around 64 MB of RAM in addition to the requirements of REALbasic and your operation system itself. While all plug-in parts compile on Mac OS 8.x, Mac OS 9.x, Mac OS X (universal), Linux and Windows, each function may depend on additional system requirements to work successfully. Plugin licenses are available for components or for the complete collection. Starting at 20 Euro (+VAT) for one component. If you buy a current license, you will get free updates for one year. After that year, you can update your license to cover an additional year. So instead of the SparkleMBS class use the SUUpdaterMBS class. * Added OverlayMBS class. * Updated PCRE (RegEx) to version 7.8. * Updated DynaPDF to version 2.0.39.409. * Added ZipMBS and UnzipMBS to handle zip files. * Added QuarzFilter classes. * Rewrote IKSlideShow class. * The darwin* classes are now console safe. * Added PHPMBS.Loaded and fixed a possible crash in the constructor. * Added DrawInto support to ButtonMBS control. * Added NSViewMBS.Constructor for using a handle property. * Added ProcessMBS.TransformToForegroundApplication to convert a background application to a foreground application on Mac OS X. * Added more TextViewMBS methods. * Added TextStorageMBS class. * Folderitem.Icon* functions now return 8bit alpha masks on Windows if possible. * On Windows the libcurl.dll is no longer embedded. Please deliver this DLL with the SSL DLLs with your app. * CURL functions will now raise functions in addition to setting lasterror to -1. * Some Addressbook class methods are now shared methods. * Added a few more CoreGraphics functions. * Added NSStringCompareMBS function. * Added more to the FontMBS class. * Added CopyMaskMBS, CopyPictureWithMaskMBS and CopyPictureWithoutMaskMBS to the picture class. * Added NSColorSpaceMBS class. * Added NSCursorMBS class. * Added CGDisplayMBS.Info function to get an information dictionary for a display. * Added CGCreateImageMBS with one parameter which uses the mask from the given image. * Added new methods for NSWindow/NSView/WebView for better transparency. * Added new NSColor functions to get system colors. * Added new WebPrintMBS class. * Added new methods to the MacHIDMBS to send and receive messages which take a report ID parameter.
