rex is implemented as a regionmodule, see opensim forge for the project. It is now working only as an early prototype, but it will be as realxtend is now, in addition to Deepthink, really implementing all the needed features to work as regionmodules. After the work has advanced enough, we can use standard grid mode and it should work with rex too.
