Within modrex, raycast and meshanim were committed to have been fixed
but I am not sure how the sample files are supposed to work. For example

1) raycast -- I create a prim and put in sampleraycast.RayTest. As I
walk around,
using mouselook, sometimes there will be a reported intersection but
with other
prims there is none. From the code, it appears that the ray extends
from the
direction the avatar is facing (ie mouselook) forward.

2) meshanim - the samplemeshanim contains a reference to "Wave". Is this
supposed
to be a .bvh file or .skeleton file? And regardless of this, does
the UUID have to
be used? Is there an working example? I'd like to try making the
avatar's middle
expand a little, for instance (simulating obesity or being
overweight) - how is this
    done?
