Hi. Some crucial parts of Hydrax were hardcoded, e.g. shaders and some part
of the main logic,
and thus would have required changes to the source code. This was the main
reason that Hydrax is
not part of the Naali at the moment. Hydrax is quite a performance hit, but
I think Naali with Hydrax can
get nice 60 fps with a modern PC (my work PC is Q6600/4Gb/8800GTS), and it
will be a configurable feature
if it's part of Naali in some point in the future.

There are also some problems with Caelum with current release, e.g. clouds
are disabled at the moment
because they would require almost infinite far clip plane distance to get
shown properly + they cause some weird
behavior to the shadows.
