Alberto/Mojica,

Are there any Mac users in Hispa Grid that can help Mojica in Spanish?

*> If you want to ask in spanish, try in our Hispagrid Forum*

Yes, I agree... it would probably be best to take Mojica's questions to the
Hispa Grid forum (for Spanish help & support).

Then if you'd like to submit a post (translated in English) to RealXtend,
it's more likely to get a quicker response if the questions are written in
English.

I don't have any step-by-step instructions for setting up or installing the
latest version of ReX in Mac OS (but I could get started on this, or at
least put it on my "to do" list). I've been waiting for RealXtend 0.6 to
get released, before updating documentation and tutorials.

What exactly does he want a tutorial for? The Naali Viewer, or the actual
full ReX server? What version of operating system is he using, and what
type of hardware platform (Intel or PPC?)

Please ask him what version of Mac OS X he is using (10.4 Tiger, 10.5
Leopard, or 10.6 Snow Leopard) and also ask him if he is using an
Intel-based processor or a PPC (Motorola Power PC) processor?

The builds would be different, and it might take me a bit of time to write
up a tutorial (Is he trying to build from source? I can't really help him
too much with PPC hardware since it's different hardware architecture, and I
don't have any old PPC systems to fully test PPC builds on).

But if he is using 10.5 Leopard or later (on the newer Intel-based Mac
hardware) I can probably try to help him (depending on what he's asking) but
I will probably need someone to translate it to Spanish for him. It might
be better to just ask on the Hispa grid forum, I'm sure someone there should
be able to help him (in his native language) and answer all his questions.

If no one in Hispa Grid can help, then please let me know, and I'll see if I
can try to begin working on a step-by-step tutorial for him. (Then maybe
you can help translate the tutorial to Spanish, and create a Spanish version
for Hispa Grid users?)

Or better yet, if he is learning how to do it (and someone helps him from
Hispa Grid) then maybe he can create a document in Spanish, and post it to
Hispa Grid so that others can have it (for future Mac OS X users).

It's hard to understand what he's asking (I ONLY speak English, and
understand a little tiny bit of Canadian French, but no Spanish) but is he
asking for help with the latest Naali Viewer? Or with a full realXtend
installation (with ReX server, and Taiga?) What exactly is he asking?

If you can translate his questions into English, I will try to help as best
as I can. (Please ask him to be as specific as possible). He could
probably get MUCH better help/support at Hispa Grid though (in Spanish).

*> idea de como instalar RX en Leopard*

I'm guessing this means something about installing on Leopard (OS X 10.5),
but what exactly does he mean by "RX"? What exactly is he trying to
install, and what hardware platform is he using (iMac, Mac Pro, Mac Book,
etc.) and is his machine Intel or PPC based?

Ask him to please clarify what he means by "RX"? Is he referring to the
Naali Viewer? Or the old 0.5 realXtend viewer (based on SL Viewer?) or is he
referring to a full realXtend server (based on OpenSim + ModRex + Taiga?)
What exactly is he asking for help with?

If he needs help in Spanish, then Hispa Grid is probably the best place for
his questions, and the place where he will most likely get the best help &
support (in Spanish).
