Good day,

Today we release Taiga 0.1.1. We have merged a newer SciSim branch that
includes a fairly new OpenSim with it. Taiga 0.1.1 now has the new cap url
for getting textures via HTTP and as I said in my fridays post we also
utilize this same path to get meshes via HTTP. Unfortunately this HTTP cap
path did not get in time for the Naali 0.2.1 release but it will be in the
next one. Meanwhile you can always build Naali develop branch and enjoy the
asset download speeds :) This release also has several fixes for the login
path. There were some seed cap related issues in the earlier Taiga that are
now fixed. So uploading to inventory and building your world with meshes
should be working. Taiga 0.1.1 also has the latest Config Wizard, Mattire
spent some time making the UI more easy to use and added features like
defining all your database names and fixes issues under linux.

Check out the updated instructions from

Unfortunately we only provide windows
binary<http://github.com/downloads/realXtend/taiga/Taiga-0.1.1.zip>.
Wiki page has instructions for the linux
folks<http://wiki.realxtend.org/index.php/Getting_Started_with_Taiga#Building_from_source>how
to get things running.
Note when building from sources: we are now using modrex branch 'taiga-0.1'.

Post any problems or questions here. We'll try to help the best we can!

Ps. Test server can be found from world.realxtend.org:8002 use your rex
account to get in. You can grab a rex account from
here<http://world.evocativi.com/> if
you don't have one.
Feel free to build with meshes as this will be my test server for HTTP
assets and I need more load on the server :)

Best regards,
Jonne Nauha
