OpenGL is used instead, given that the Ogre gl plugin is available, and I think it is bundled in Naali releases. About the original question, prebuilt Linux binaries, we are certainly not giving that up -- a buildslave actually builds naali (both the develop / 0.4 and tundra branches) on Ubuntu after each commit, only to run tests though, the builds from that box are not available for downloading currently. Jarkko from the Chiru project at CIE.fi has been talking about automating the build & release processes so that packages would come automatically, and they dev on Linux and have people to work on that so the situation should improve soon. ~Toni > On Sat, Jan 29, 2011 at 6:48 AM, Mikko Pallari <[email protected]> wrote: > AFAIK you can disable DirectX from plugins.cfg by commenting out line > 'Plugin=RenderSystem_Direct3D9'. > > Cheers, > Mikko > > > On Sat, Jan 29, 2011 at 11:11 AM, HartsAntler <[email protected]> wrote: > Seems like it should be easy to reconfigure the windows build to have > an option to use openGL instead of directx?
