before with realxtend server/viewer people already try and login i have meet 2 friends and running second life in same time and realxtend was exactly same speed as second life hehehe. so yesterday i try again with one friend and She really want to try hehehe. was good we use skype for better explanation and doing like tutorial i of course try 3 way and i effectively dind't give enough informations here for help. so my router is setted correctly (i hope). the problem first was my local ip wasn't synchronising correctly newbie error i din't check it was changed 192.168.1.100 and was 101 dunno why ... but it's happen so ok np this was resolved fast :) but when she try with Naali 0.4.0 server accept her but never send the login (hmmm dunno if it's a request or a confirmation) region message to her. so she try again with realxtend viewer ... same trouble . i purpose her to made an account i made manually here because i have no knowledge for editing the web automatic creation here and i surely need to use authentication server for that and .. i'm more lose if i try something. so i create it and i tell her to create avatar using OpenSim (because the realxtend one use the authentication server i don't have). login server was : http://taigalife.ath.cx:8002 user: firstname secondname password : no need to comment ;) and this message about she never receive the message login appear on my server side and to her too after 3 mins without moving mor than :waiting for region handshake. she try this way with realxtend 0.42 viewer and Naali 0.4.0 then i suggest to try with tundra viewer for her .... so i open the 2345 port (hmmmm 2345 i'm not sure is the right one???? sorry can't remember last numbers) and this message again ....... strange no? so i read your message about Opensim need to be configured and i have an idea ...... it's can be possible my router don't allow connection on port 9001, 9002 and 9003 and these ports are the famous regions ports here ...... can be that? i check my router side and i have : open ports from 9000 to 9900 TCP and UDP ..... hmmmm edit: i just found how to resolve it but i'm 90% ok ^^ i have that on region.ini: [Welcome] ExternalHostName=SYSTEMIP InternalPort=9001 Location=1000,1000 MasterAvatarFirstName= MasterAvatarLastName= MasterAvatarSandboxPassword= RegionUUID=ssssssss don't copy this number region_name=Welcome InternalAddress=0.0.0.0 AllowAlternatePorts=False ExternalHostName must be changed with : ExternalHostName=http://taigalife.ath.cx:8002 right?
