You can try Meshmoon Rocket http://download.meshmoon.com/clients/Meshmoon-Rocket-mac.pkg If this installs ok then its something to do with rex mac packaging etc.
Meshmoon is basically realXtend Tundra with some goodies on top and a good way to get started with realXtend Tundra tech.
