Hi Jeff, i am aware of the whitespace problems. I analysed the the 2.5.6 Version of makedoc2 a little further. It lacks the emit url function and the option =url.
At some time it must have been removed, because in the old makedoc docs it is mentioned to be a new feature. I searched ALTMe yesterday. There is a Makedoc section. There i found a link to a modified version with url support i can use. Thanks for your hint Jeff.
