Most persons filter life using their own indoctrinated thinking.
It's amazing that others could ever PRESUME to know what is the
thinking inside another's head.

> your posts are coming across more like "I'm right and
> you're wrong", rather than being in the spirit of finding
common ground and better explanations for things.

Gregg, How are your reading comprehension skills? Do you see and
filter only what you want to see so that perhaps you can go
about and say to yourself "I'm right and he's wrong for
expressing himself the way he does, which happens to be
expression of truthful comment."

You see to have MISSED ENTIRELY the EXACT WORDS of what I wrote:

"A recent exchange on the REBOL email list made me revisit
Ladislav Mecir's article "Rebol Words and Contexts, alias
Bindology"

--- cut examples ---

But is this truth?"

AND FURTHER

"Thoughts?"

AND STILL FURTHER

"So, again. Is this truth?"

Here's the facts of what's going on here.

1. You don't recognize my name and never read any posts of my in
the past. You worship others who write to the mailing list,
therefore you instantly have your guard up to defend them, even
if what they profess is false, simply because I am "an outsider"

PROOF: your own words "Since I don't know much about you, but I
do know the local gurus"

See, you worshippingly refer to them as "gurus" and you admit
you don't know me

The only comments "uncalled for" are

1) the "HTH" post at the end and the ridiculous condenscenion by
Mr. Mercir who is clearly wrong about ALIAS and how the writers
of REBOL designed the run-time to track them.
2) yours -- which have nothing to do with REBOL but reveal a
bigotted bias against "outsiders"

Hopefully, Mr. Irwin, you'll take a look at yourself in the
mirror and see that you've come to know more about yourself and
will have grown.

Glad to help you in this manner.

Pier
