Hi Gregg, why do you use wait mode? :-) It is looong time, when I realised, what I would like to use as a default mode in REBOL - open/direct/no-wait. Much better imo, as it does not block, and I am for making it a default working mode, reversing the aproach, introducing open/wait for blocking behavior.
The only thing which could help you imo is to lower default tcp timeout, which is - 30secs? IIRC you can do it selectively for particular port, update the port. -pekr- -- To unsubscribe from the list, just send an email to lists at rebol.com with unsubscribe as the subject.
