It didn't work ?
I thought maybe you need to alter the .r filetype association
command line, adding the --noinstall option in those settings.

If I remember correctly, you open Explorer, then View / Filetypes,
then select .r from a long list and look for the rebol executable
filename. There, or thereabouts, is where you add the --noinstall
option.

Forgive me if I'm stating the obvious.
