It seems that Lulu.com has unfortunately recently increased its shipping charges especially to one or two countries. I have also heard that the shipping cost can be affected by the currency in which you buy the book. I believe that if you specify US Dollars to buy the book, it will be shipped from the US even if you live in Europe. It might be worth switching currencies if the shipping costs seem too high.
