Looks like. After some protracted searching of the archives
on rebol.org (please, please, please can someone write a
better search engine forthe archives???) I found that I need
something like:
ibtermcap.so.2 -> /lib/libncurses.so.3.4

Probably about time really, termcap is obsolete on more or
less all linux distros now.
Shame the experimental timed out before the next release
though :/
