CECIL,

How exactly does a yet to be released / fully developed open source REBOL
"compete" with REBOL/Core and possibly also REBOL/View which are free in
price anyway, and with /Core also freely distributable.

Would a future OSCAR damage REBOL Technologies commercially by taking away
any revenue from /Core and /View? clearly NO!
So rather than being a competing product it surely would be complementary
offering source code availability for those who need it.

Also when did I ever say REBOL were NOT entitled to make a profit from their
activities?

Iam very grateful to REBOL for all they have provided for free, I genuinely
hope that their commercial offerings for enterprises are very successful,
that way REBOL succeeds and grows, and Carl, Jeff & Holger and the rest of
the REBOL team are financially rewarded for the sterling work they do.

Sure I have differing opinions about the best way to develop the foundation
technology but we've already discussed that ad naseum.

I WANT REBOL TO SUCCEED.

Surely we ALL want that?
