Hi Steve,

I'm not sure if ths relates to your problem, but for cgi
purposes it's best to use the respective /Core distribution.

- should startup faster (no /View overhead)
- !!! /View needs the X11 libraries to be installed, which
      is not the case on most web-servers !!! 
      (could this be your problem?)
