I've no idea if this will work but give it a try. I tried to emulate your
problem using an NT machine.
read to-rebol-file %"\\Novell_server\accounts\GABILLON\"
Seemed to work for me on my own machine when I created a share.
If that doesn't work consider mapping a drive to the share and using that.
