Slashdot is carrying a purple-prose cover to the news.com story
at the following link:

    http://news.com.com/2100-1023-864086.html

which has the headline:

Morpheus gives Web surfers a detour

and reports that

... it has begun installing a Web browser add-on that sends
some Morpheus users on an invisible Web detour aimed at
capturing data about file swappers' surfing habits.

... the affiliate program that sends Morpheus users to
participating shopping sites will provide them with some
reward in return. He [StreamCast Chief Exec Steve Griffin]
declined to give any further details, however.

... By invisibly inserting the redirect into Web surfers'
browsers, StreamCast can make it look like it is referring
traffic to shopping Web sites without the shopper ever
being aware that the Morpheus technology was involved.

Given the increasing level of out-rage/-cry being raised over
such tactics, I hope this isn't being done with REBOL, and
that nobody in the press pushes a connection between Morpheus
and REBOL at this point.
