Hi REBOLs, As we like to do about once a year, there's a new REBOL website. Obviously, the look of the site is different with the green nav bar that Petr thinks is too rebollious. And, for the first time in several years we've gone back to fixed sizing, maybe just to piss-off viewers. And, frankly, those tabs at the top just weren't cutting it. We've gone back to the hierarchical nav bars that have been my personal favorite since before the web.
But, the main focus was to clean it up, not just visually, but to improve navigation, internal consistency, and the fundamental message that REBOL IS GREAT! That's been needed for quite a while, and there's still much more to do. In the weeks ahead, the main index page will get simplified so new visitors (and we are expecting to see many more soon) won't get overwhelmed, the search system will get better (and use REBOL :), plus we might even put the search field onto the left side where it belongs, and the online docs will get more organized and useful. And, wait until you see what's about to happen to the Script Library... So, all of this will be timed well with the release of REBOL/Core 2.6, REBOL/Link 1.1, REBOL/Command 2.2, and not to mention, REBOL/View 1.3. So, get out there and tell your friends, clients, shipmates, and cellmates about REBOL, post some great scripts, build some useful IOS reblets, and let's get going. Time is short.
