"tar -xzf file" fails because tar collects multiple files. called *.tar.gz or *.tgz . the beta is only one file. use "gunzip file" or "gzip -d file". then "chmod u+x view1205042" (make runnable). and "./view1205042". should run (suse here). > Anton.
