Hello,

I am new to the list. (Don't hold that against me)
I would like a little clarification.

1. Standard protocol framework:

    What does this mean?

    Why is it needed?

2. Upon which we all could build:

    What is being built?

    Who is 'we all' ?

3. Is there a target goal?

    What is the goal?

    Why work on that goal?

Thanks,
Dick
