Let me explain a bit... Running an email-based list is more difficult than it has been in the past. The problem is mainly spam pollution of the list's control and message channels, but there were also some security issues in the past.
To fix these problems, we've had to make a lot of adjustments to the list, including changing its address, mail rejection methods, failure processing parameters, as well as changing its subscribe and unsubscribe methods to require confirmation. In addition, spam filters may in some cases accidentally consider replies from email lists as spam itself. So, that's worth considering. As I've said before, I think the days of email are numbered. Although we'll try to keep this list server up as long as possible... most of the REBOL discussion traffic has already moved to AltME worlds or IOS servers. Once we have REBOL-Services on-line, I think we'll have an even better solution to the problem.
