The ads you see depend partially on your geotargeting (ie where in the world Google thinks you are; which may have no relation to where you actually are). When I search for REBOL, I tend to see 4 ads on the main SERP and 3 or 4 on the Groups page. But it cam also vary by time of day and a pile of other factors. But it does mean that some advertisers are targeting the term REBOL.. If you get a logo to Google Adwords you can design a campaign around the word REBOL and see just how much it would cost you to run the campaign -- also estimates of how often your ad will be seen and clicked. It's one way to get an idea of the comparative assumed commercial value of (say) REBOL vs Perl.
