Risen was created to design products around the REBOL platform. We feel
that displaying REBOL's amazing capabilities in product form will drive
awareness and acceptance.

While we know our first product will be the Freedom Patch, our future
product schedule is a fairly blank slate. Many of you have business ideas
based on REBOL and we are interested in learning more about those ideas.
REBOL's parent company Vital Needs International is an expert at taking
products from the idea stage to a finished product. Risen was created by
Vital Needs to make REBOL dreams and ideas a reality.

Risen has also committed to helping shoulder some of the REBOL community
requests (like Web site updates, community newsletters, contests) so Carl
and Cindy can focus on the AltMe 2.0. Cindy and I will work in the next
month to finalize those plans.

Well, I'm not totally clear, actually.

So, a question for Heather, (and welcome to the list Heather - this time
from New Zealand)...

What do you actually mean by "a new company created to serve as the
promotional arm for REBOL Technologies."? Do REBOL users now contact Risen
World instead of RT on matters that would broadly fall under the
"promotional" label?

A trivial example from mid June: Someone was showing an interest in REBOL
and asked me if I knew of a quick intoduction to the language, so I pointed
them here...

http://www.rebol.com/rebolintro.html

I then skimmed the page myself and noticed the code examples had no
indentation, which isn't a good look for code examples. So I told RT about
it using their Feedback form and received a reply thanking me for pointing
it out and saying it'd be scheduled to be fixed that day. But if you go to
the page now you'll see it hasn't been fixed.

Does that fall under the "promoting REBOL" label, and if so, is it now Risen
World who should be informed of such problems?
