Thanks to Gabriele and Josh, the list is back up. At least for now. Regarding the =hex encoding: unfortunately, this is an escape encoding format used by many emailers. The field that indicates that the message content is quote-encoded is being removed somewhere in the email handling process. So, clients that process the text do not do the proper decoding of the message. This is true of the web pages as well.
Regarding the mail list software: it is called Ecartis. Our server runs Linux, so XP mail lists are not much use to us. We are investigating other possibilities... but mainly we expect to use REBOL/Services for most future REBOL communications.
