[REBOL] UDP sleep problem

Hi,
I want to use udp to write a chat programme,but when I try to  open a port to 
receive incoming messages,I meet a problem:
 
udp: open udp://localhost:7700
wait udp

It sleeps...and I am using console mode,so it is impossible to do other 
things,such as sending messages. 
What do you suggest I do?thanks
