Scalloped Potatoes
serves 4-6

4  potatoes, pared,cut in thin slices
salt and pepper
flour
1  tablespoon butter
Milk

Put layer of potatoes in a buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with
salt, pepper, and flour.  Dot with one-half of the butter. Repeat another
layer (salt,butter,pepper)  Add milk until it can be seen below top layer.
Bake 1-1/4 hour at 350: (175: C.) or until potatoes are tender
