YAM BISCUITS

1 cup flour
1 pinch salt
3 teaspoons sugar
1 cup yams, cooked/mashed 
2-1 /2 teaspoons baking powder 
1 /4 cup shortening
Sift dry ingredients; add shortening and potato and mix thoroughly; 
knead dough; cut with biscuit cutter. Bake in 400 oven 12 to 15 
minutes.
