Easy Caramel Corn 3 bags of popped microwave popcorn (remove the unpopped seeds) 1 cup brown sugar 1 stick margarine 1/4 cup light corn syrup microwave the brown sugar, margarine and corn syrup in a 2 1/2 quart bowl for 2 to 3 minutes . stir and boil mixture for 3 more minutes stir a couple of times. Stir mixture well and pour it over the popped corn. mix to coat the popcorn evenly. let the popcorn cool on waxed paper. Break apart and serve. Optional: after coating the popcorn place it in the oven at 350 degrees for a few minutes to harden the caramel . stir often .. keep a close eye on the popcorn in the oven so that it doesn't burn
