Hi, Syl,

Oh, bless your hearts! What a mess. At least your hubby wanted to help you! All three of you needed a good bath, poor chihuahua! I would have gone out to Marie Calender's for an entire meal after a big mess like that! There are days, and then, there are days like those you 2 good people had!

LOL! yes, I know, it's true.
tonight I wanted to make a pineapple upside down cake with a pumpkin frosting type  of recepie, that I got from our list, and while I was whipping up the ingrediants, I had it turned on, but it wasn't moving, so I went to the outside pantry(in the garage) and daniel went in to "help" and he turned it back on, so I was weary of how did it turn on, and so since he had his back towards me, I had the jar of pumpkin already smashed, and some pineapples all mixed up in a container, and well, when he heard me running kind of to him, since it's a bit harder to run when you totally blind, hehehehe!
we bumped, mixer and mix went flying, pumpkin, chocolate and whip cream, eggs flour, everything went all over the place and all over us, then we slipped and fel down together, and the funniest thing yet, what was left of the mixing bowl landed on our little Roxy, our little Teacup chewhwawa, she was not a happy camper.... lolololol!!
all we could do was laugh.
and well after we cleaned it up, we went to Marie Calendar's for a piece of pie
it was a fun night!!!

Hi, Syl,

I think I can top that one. Your poor dear, what a real genuine mess. My husband and I get along famously, however, we would fight about the littlest nit picky stuff, and one day, (he worked nights), he decided he wanted to help me prepare a pork roast in the crockpot, and he chopped the potatoes and whatever, onions, and I put sauerkraut into the pot, too. He said the roast should go in the pot a certain way, I said, no, it will fit better this way, Honey, and I said to put the potatoes and onions in the bottom, the roast on top, then the sauerkraut, he kept saying, no, no, it shouldn't go that way! I was ready to plug the thing in, and he grabbed that monster from me, and I said, don't, and he opened it, and took out the roast, and threw it, and the pot, and you know the mess on the floor, and all over the kitchen; guess who made him clean it up, too? Uh huh, he did. Sometimes, if he got mad, and like I said, it would be about little things, he would grab a drawer and dump out the contents, I also said, you made the childish mess, now you go put it all back; that broke him of those antics quickly.

LOL! Sandy, we have all had our "breaks" in the kitchen, I have done that too, but one time I thought the can of peas was shut, and then my daughter said something to me, that upset me(hmm, must of not been that important, since I forgot) so I slammed the can down, and well, the can was opened enough to where all the water and peas went flying, and well, you can imagine the rest, LOL!
I had little green peas in my hair, all over the place, and in 15 minutes, the social services for my in home support aide was comeing to see how "organized I really was"
now, that was a sight to see, well, both my daughter and her friend who had spent the night helped me clean it all up just in time, and all I can remember is that I had to say yes to whatever she had asked me.... I think it was something to do with a late night dance at school,
ar'r'r'r'r'r'r'r'r'r' that was a cr'r'r'r'r'r'r'azy day.
smiles,
Syl

I agree with that one! Or if each of you decides to prepare something, you get on one side of the kitchen, and Del on the other side to keep out of each other's way! Did I tell you about how one time, I had this icky, sticky kitchen mishap? I first of all need to say I am not! a morning1! person! My kids were small, I got up to fix them scrambled eggs and toast for their breakfast, put the eggs into my bathrobe pocket, and in rushing around, accidentally ran into the side of the kitchen table, and smash, there went the eggs, and I had egg running down my leg, all over my robe, yuk! I was livid!
