Josh Turner and songwriters Shawn Camp and John Scott Sherrill celebrated Turner's No. 1 hit, "Would You Go With Me," during a ceremony at the BMI offices in Nashville on Wednesday afternoon (Nov. 15). This is Turner's second No. 1 hit, following "Your Man" earlier this year. In addition to numerous other credits, Camp and Sherrill also co-wrote Brooks & Dunn's "How Long Gone," a No. 1 hit in 1998. November 16.2006 5:45 PM EST Clear Channel Communications Inc., the nation's largest owner of radio stations, will be sold to a private investment group for $18.7 billion, company officials announced Thursday (Nov. 16). The group led by Thomas H. Lee Partners LP and Bain Capital Partners LLC will purchase the company at $37.60 per share. In addition, the investors will assume approximately $8 billion in debt. Clear Channel also announced plans to sell 448 of its 1,150 radio stations and all 42 stations in its television group. None of the radio stations being sold are located within the nation's Top 100 markets. According to Country Aircheck's Lon Helton, approximately 180 of Clear Channel's stations are formatted for country music. Of those, approximately 120 will be sold. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and joins siblings Briana and Landon. Gracin is expected to release his second album, All About Y'all, early next year. The project's first single is titled "I Keep Coming Back," written by Steve Robson and Jeffrey Steele. Gracin's hits include "Nothin' to Lose," "Stay With Me (Brass Bed)" and "I Want to Live." Blake Shelton Premieres New Video on CMT.com Thu. November 16.2006 2:09 PM EST Blake Shelton premiered his new video, "Don't Make Me," on Thursday (Nov. 16) on CMT.com. The song will be included on his new album, titled Pure BS, expected early next year. As previously reported, Shelton will serve as a judge on Nashville Star next year with Anastasia Brown and Alabama's Randy Owen. Shelton joins Gary Allan, Rodney Atkins and PovertyNeck Hillbillies for a concert in Asheville, N.C., on Friday (Nov. 17).
