APPLE  CRISP
 
Filling:
5- Granny Smith apples peeled & sliced
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar mixed with 1-1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
 
Put in a 8x8 glass baking dish and sprinkle with sugar & cinnamon
mixture.
 
 
Topping:
3 packages instant oatmeal w/maple & brown sugar (put in small bowl and
break apart 
   chunks)
Add 2 Tbsp softened butter
 
Cut butter into oatmeal then shake over the apples, making sure to cover
the top. Place baking dish on cookie sheet and bake at 350* F. for 60
minutes.
 
This makes a nice semi tart dessert. If you want it sweeter just add
more sugar or maybe maple syrup.
