Layer and pack ingredients in canning jars in the order listed. Yes, some 
ingredients are repeated. That's where the layering comes in -- think edible 
sand sculptures. If there is any space left at the top after adding the last 
ingredient, include more baking chips, dried fruits or nuts.

1. Holiday Hazelnut: 1 cup chopped hazelnuts, toasted and completely cooled; 
1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar; 1 cup baking mix (Jiffy, Bisquick); 1/2 cup 
packed light brown sugar, 1 cup baking mix.

2. Wonderful White Chocolate-Macadamia Nut: 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts, 
1/2 cup white chocolate or vanilla milk chips, 1/2 cup packed dark brown 
sugar, 1 cup baking mix (Jiffy, Bisquick), 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar, 
1 cup baking mix.

3. Hustle-Bustle Butterscotch-Oatmeal: 1/2 cup butterscotch chips, 1/2 cup 
packed dark brown sugar, 1 cup old-fashioned oats, 1 cup baking mix (Jiffy, 
Bisquick), 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar, 1 cup baking mix.

4. Outrageous Oatmeal-Raisin: 1/3 cup raisins; 1/3 cup chopped walnuts, 
toasted and completely cooled; 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar; 1 cup 
old-fashioned oats; 1 cup baking mix (Jiffy, Bisquick); 1/2 cup packed light 
brown sugar; 1 cup baking mix.

5. Crazy for Craisins: 2/3 cup sweetened dried cranberries (Craisins); 1/2 
cup chopped pecans, toasted and completely cooled; 1/2 cup packed dark brown 
sugar; 1 cup baking mix (Jiffy, Bisquick); 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar; 
1 cup baking mix.

6. Chocolate Lover's: 1/3 cup milk chocolate chips, 1/3 cup white chocolate 
or vanilla chocolate chips, 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips, 1/2 cup 
packed dark brown sugar, 1 cup baking mix (Jiffy, Bisquick), 1/2 cup packed 
light brown sugar, 1 cup baking mix.

7. Crunchy Toffee: 2/3 cup toffee chips; 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted and 
completely cooled; 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar; 1 cup baking mix (Jiffy, 
Bisquick); 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar; 1 cup baking mix.

8. Chocolate-Covered Raisin: 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats, 2/3 cup 
chocolate-covered raisins, 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar, 1 cup baking mix 
(Jiffy, Bisquick), 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar, 1 cup baking mix.

9. Chunky Chocolate: 1 cup semisweet chocolate chunks, 1/2 cup packed dark 
brown sugar, 1 cup baking mix (Jiffy, Bisquick), 1/2 cup packed dark brown 
sugar, 1 cup baking mix.

10. Chewy Coconut-Almond: 1 cup shredded coconut; 1/2 cup sliced almonds, 
toasted and completely cooled; 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar; 1 cup baking 
mix (Jiffy, Bisquick); 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar; 1 cup baking mix.

On gift card attach to each jar these instructions:

Empty contents into a medium mixing bowl. Stir in 1 stick of melted 
margarine or butter, 1 large egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla until well-combined. 
Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on baking sheet coated with cooking spray. 
Bake at 375 F for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are golden brown. Makes 
2 1/2 dozen cookies
