Salami Pinwheels

In this recipe you can substitute peperoni for salami

Makes about 32 pieces

Ingredients:

1 17.25 oz frozen puff pastry sheets

1 8oz pkg italian dry salami(or peperoni)

1 8oz pkg shredded mozzarellla cheese

1/4 cup grated parmesan sheese

1/4 cup choppped fresh basil

Directions:

1. Thaw the 2 sheets of pastry dough. Roll out each piece of dough on a floured 
board into a 10x12 inch rectangle.

2. Place equal amounts of mozzarella, salami, parmesan, basil, on each sheet 
leaving 1 inch boarder around the edge. 

3. Roll each sheet starting at the long end, making sure the filling stays 
inside. Seal long edge with water and pinch together.

4. Cut each pinwheel into half inch slices with a very sharp knife and place on 
a baking sheet.

5. Bake at 400 for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
