With the coming of the holiday season,
that means more school kids and*wee ones*
and assorted "Grands" underfoot and looking
for *snacks*...here*s a great way to do it _your
_ way without all the preservatives etc. of the
store bought ones.
7 LAYER BARS
1/2 cup butter
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 cups butterscotch chips
1 cup coconut
1 cup salted peanuts
1 (14 oz) cn condensed milk

Low Down: Use a butter substitute, like
Smart Balance, and consider using UN-salted
nuts as well as sugar-free chocolate & butterscotch
chips.

Melt butter in a saucepan. Mix with graham
cracker crumbs. Press mix THOROUGHLY into
bottom of a 9 x 13 " pan. Layer each of chocolate
chips, butterscotch chips, coconut & peanuts
over graham cracker crust Pour milk over layers.
Bake at 350 ° F for 25 - 30 min. Cool; cut into bars.
Prep Note:(s) They now have graham
crackers out in Original, Honey Maid, Chocolate,
Cinnamon & Fat Free....so lots of different options
AND tastes, all off of the same basic recipe.
~ Mess-free graham cracker crumbs are
made easily with a good size zip-lock (or
simular) plastic bag and your trusty ole*
rolling pin.
