Fresh Pear Cake

3 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups oil
3 cups flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 cups finely chopped peeled pears
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
2 tsp. milk

In bowl beat eggs on medium speed. Gradually add sugar and oil; beat thoroughly. Combine flour, cinnamon, salt and baking soda; add to egg mixture and mix well. Stir in pears and vanilla. Spoon into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 to 65 minutes or until done. Let cool in pan 10 minutes before removing to wire rack, before removing to serving pan. Combine powdered sugar and milk, beat until smooth. Drizzle over warm cake.
