Title: Pepper Steak Strips
Servings:  5

1 ea Env. Meat Marinade
1 lb Round Steak
1 ea Med. Onion, Chopped
2 T  Butter Or Margarine
1 t Bottled Brown Boquet Sauce
8 oz (1 can) Stewed Tomatoes
1/2 t Dried Thyme Leaves
2 T  Unbleached Flour
1/4 c Red Wine Or Water
1 ea Med Green Pepper
8 oz (1 Can) Mushrooms
3 c  Hot Cooked Rice

*      Envelope of Meat Marinade From Store should weigh about .8 ozs.
* Steak should be cut into strips, about 1/8-inch thick & about 3-inches long.
* Green Pepper should be seeded & cut into strips.
* Mushrooms should be stems & pieces, & should be drained.

Prepare marinade as directed on envelope.
Marinate beef as directed on envelope; drain well.
Cover & microwave onion & margarine in 2-qt casserole
on high (100%)power 1 minute.
Stir in bouquet sauce, tomatoes, & thyme.
Mix in beef.
Cover & microwave 8 minutes; stir.
Microwave on medium (50%) 10 minutes.
Shake flour & wine in tightly covered container.
Stir into meat Mixture.
Add pepper strips & mushrooms; mix into sauce.
Cover & microwave until meat is tender, 6 to 8 minutes.
Serve over hot Rice.
