Hello All,I'm sorry I have been a little bit busy and a little bit more lazy and I haven'gt been saying much in all of my groups. I want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and hope that the celebrating will be enjoyable and safe. I've had a very nice holiday season so far. We opened our gifts in the wee hours of Christmas morning as usual and I received many practical and wonderful gifts for the kitchen. I will be having a lot of adventures learning to use a new pressure cooker, mixer, and food processor. I also got some small things such as a new peeler, grater, egg slicer and some new glasses and a nice mug. My daughter, Bee, gave me a beautiful selection of candy, coffee mixes,k and a chili mac mix in a jar. She put braille labels on all of the candies and mixes and a braille instruction sheet for the jar. That was the biggest surprise of all trying to figure out how she got the labels into Grade 2 braille! Anyway we also got a water purifier to go with the new faucet for the kitchen. I also got one of those little mp3 players. Those are a bit of an accessibility challenge but after you learn a few tricks with some patient sighted people it is pretty easy to listen to music that is loaded from a computer and to charge up the battery.
I hope that 2007 will be a great hyear for all of us.
