Mock Cherry Pie

"Don*t have any cherries? Never fear! Cranberries and raisins can be
combined to make a double crust pie so delicious your guests won*t even
notice!"

INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup raisins
3/4 cup water
2 cups cranberries
3/4 cup white sugar
1 (15 ounce) package double crust ready-to-use pie crust
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Place raisins and water in a saucepan, and allow to soak for 20 minutes.
Stir in the cranberries and sugar; bring to a simmer. Cook until the
cranberries are soft, about 10 minutes Pour into prepared pie shell, and
cover with top piece of pastry. Seal the edges and flute if desired. Cut
a few small holes in the top to vent steam.
Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 35 to 45 minutes. Allow
to cool completely before serving
